KATANA's NARRATION

"We gotta make a plan." Seryoso at puno ng awtoridad na saad ni Kuya Trigger habang nakacross arms na nakaupo sa head chair ng mahabang mesa sa loob ng HQ ng Black Organization.

"Fucking co
wards." Tiim naman ang bagang na komento ni Kuya Caliber.

"Of all people, si Emerald pa ang napiling puntiryahin. Nakakagago." Raven.

I heaved a sigh. Obviously, everyone was upset. We may all look calm but deep inside us was a raging fire. Emerald Blood got into a car accident last night and still unconscious now. Nawalan ng preno ang sasakyan nya. A normal person would think it was really an accident. But we're far from normal.

Emerald was about to approach me. She texted me last night saying she has an important information. And an accident can't be just a coincidence.

We are under a certain organization and we are all hyper aware of our name in underworld society. Black Organization is such a famous group that everyone would be so willing to drag down. Not realizing they messed with the wrong people.

"I did some research." I stood up and gave every each of them a folder wherein I input all the information.

Usually, lalaki lang naman ang nagmimeeting. But this one's different. This morning, napag alaman ko ding pati ang preno ng sasakyan ko ay sinira nila. Good thing, I used my motorcyle instead of the car. At bago naman pumunta dito si Duchess, a car was following her. But Duchess was not an ordinary lady. Of course she was able to do something para di masundan. Then there was Lindsay. She was cornered of a large group last night. She was able to take them down but she got some bruises and a cast since she had nothing and they had weapons against her.

"Wengya! Ano 'to?!"

Lahat kami ay napalingon sa kambal na Lamperouge na sabay pang nagsalita habang nakatingin sa folder.

Inangat ni Azure ang tingin nya sa 'kin. "Katanababes, halata namang walang panama ang mga ito sa kagwapuhan ko e!"

Amber rolled her eyes heavenwards. "For pete's sake, sa hitsura mong yan, Azure?! Bumalik ka nga sa gubat! Sinisira mo ang kadyosahan ko."

Napakamot naman si Mikaela ng ulo. "You know, this is not a joke, guys. Although.." Inangat nya ang tingin sa akin. "Is this for real, Katana? TVS ang kalaban natin? Like.. Takbo Batang Supot ba ito?"

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

"No joke pala ah, Mikaela?" si Lindsay.

"Saang lupalop mo nakuha yaaaan?!" si Duchess.

"Silence." Sabay sabay naming sabi ni Kuya Trigger at Kuya Caliber. Nagsilingunan naman sila.

"Nasa lahi ba ng Roswells ang masyadong seryoso? Pfft." Natatawang sabi ni Raven.

"Wala man lang atang nagmana kay Tita Aemie." Natatawang dagdag ni Duke.

"Pero dyan naman cool ang Katana-babes ko eh." At si Cody.

Bumuntong hininga ako't pinakalma ang sarili. I don't know if I should be thankful na wala dito si Emerald dahil mas maingay pag nandito sya o hindi.

"TVS is known as a cheap nationwide gang. It is an enormous gang and has lots of smaller and smaller type. But the TVS we are facing right now is the Head group. The truth is, there is a hierarchy in this gang. From the smallest group which is usually composed of small number of young highschoolers to the highest which is composed of three undoubtedly business tycoons. And the highest group was the one who messed with us." Nagsimula akong magpaliwanag dahilan para manahimik sila at ituon sa akin ang atensyon. "They're targeting the females of Black Organization because they think we're pretty easier to handle in terms of physical attributes. Besides, we had most of the research papers. And just last night, when Emerald got into the accident. There was an envelope she was holding firm and tight but its papers were already missing. We must assume the foe already know where this HQ located." Mahabang dagdag paliwanag ko na pinakinggan naman nila.

Biglang nagtaas ng kamay si Azure. Tiningnan ko sya pero hindi ako nagsasalita though the way I looked at him already asked what the hell is he going to say. "Wengya Katanababes! Wala bang Tagalog version yung explanation mo?"

I wore my usual poker face. How could this guy be so annoying?

"Shut your mouth, Lamperouge." Kuya Trigger, wearing the same expression as me.

"They'd attack us sooner or later. I know, Marcus Pamares, their leader. That is his strategy. He don't like delays. Kill if kill. Die if die." Kuya Caliber said.

"Did all of you bring your guns?" Tanong ni Kuya Trigger.

"I did." Sagot ng karamihan.

Ang ilan ay tumango lang, ang iba ay inilabas ang kani-kanilang baril--kasama ako. It was just a pistol. Naglagay ako ng bala at seryosong itinutok iyon sa isang glass wall na nasa bandang likuran ng inuupuan ni Azure na nagreact naman agad. I did not intentionally point it unto him though. It just felt like it was the most appropriate direction from where I was standing.

"Anak ng! Katana babes alam kong hindi mo pa ako gusto sa ngayon pero wag mo naman akong patayin agad at sayang ang gwapo kong la--WHOA!"

Napalingon kaming lahat sa pinto. Malayo sa location namin ngayon pero sigurado kaming putok 'yon ng baril kasabay ng malakas na pagtulak sa isang pinto. No one shot among us. Shooting inside the HQ is such a golden rule for Kuya Trigger never wanted disorganization and chaos. Shit. This is when things get pretty dangerous. As we, Kuya Caliber and Kuya Trigger, conclude, they're after our very own heads tonight. They're powerful indeed. But brainless. Tsk.

Everyone stood up and make their weapons up. All of us suddenly got this winning smirk on our faces. Of course, we know the HQ better. We have the advantage. And have I said HQ was built like as if a puzzled to be solved? Lots of secrets lie beneath.

"Let's get it on, yeeeaaahaaaa!" Natutuwang sabi ni Cody habang excited na ipinopoint sa kung saan-saan ang baril nya.

Bigla naman syang binato ni Mikaela ng ballpen." Dumbass. Wag atat. Baka una kang mabaril."

"Kung may unang mabaril, sana yung lalaking mahilig sa hipon nalang!" Pagpapasaring ni Amber habang chinicheck ang baril saka ito itinutok kay Grayson. Bahagyang nakakindat at pinilatik ang baril. "Bang!"

"Holy Christ, Amber. Still bitter?" Natatawang bulong ni Duchess kay Amber na dinig naman ng karamihan.

"Tss." Grayson's only reaction.

"What's the strategy?" Tanong naman ni Kayden kay Kuya Trigger. Ngayon lang nagsalita ang isang 'to. Buong oras kasi syang nakatingin lang sa folder.

Lahat kami ay napalingon naman kay Kuya Trigger para maghintay ng sagot. He let out a short half-smile. "No strategy needed. We can roam around in this HQ with our eyes closed. What do you think does that mean?" He simply said. Everyone agreed through a nod and a smirk.

Bigla ay iniharap naman sa amin ni Raven ang laptop nya. Tiningnan namin 'yon at napag alamang copy 'yun ng Control Room. That's a computer freak for you. Another CCTV ang nasa laptop niya. Ang dami nga ng kalaban. Isa isa nya kaming inabutan ng earpiece.

"Take this for connection." He said and looked at Lindsay. "Lindsay would be our eyes."

"What? There's no way I would stay here. Walang thrill. Saka--" Hindi natapos ni Lindsay ang sasabihin nang biglang pinat ni Kuya Trigger ang ulo niya.

"You better stay here, Lindsay. Your safety is prioritized." May munting ngiting sabi ni Kuya Trigger.

Napaiwas naman ng tingin si Lindsay. "Yeah."

"Let's drop the chitchats. Let the game begin." Kuya Caliber announced. Kinasa na niya ang hawak niyang baril.

And that was when the real hunt started.

Pumunta ako sa control room as Duchess instructed. I was the one in-charged of killing down whoever the instructor of the other group. Kung may access din sila sa mga nangyayari gamit ang control room, magiging mahirap ang paggalaw.

Napasandal ako sa gilid ng isang pader nang may mahagip akong aninong dumaan. Sinilip ko ang hallway papunta sa control room. Fuck. Two guys in suit and armed with armalite. I tsked as I assemble my gun to shoot them nang biglang madanggil ni Azure ang braso ko which caused the gun to fall onto the ground and create a noise that caught the guards' attention. Inis kong nilingon si Azure at Cody na nasa likod ko. Unfortunately, they're witb me. They insisted.

Azure immediately explained. "Si Cody yung tumulak sa 'kin."

Tss. Pahamak talaga ang dalawang ito. Sinulyapan ko ang dalawang guard na armado and they're obviously on their way now towards us. There's no way I can get my gun without them noticing me. Cody and Azure quickly took their guns out, pointed onto the two guys and was about to shoot when I held their guns' mouth to stop them. Nilingon nila ako.

"Your guns don't have silencers." Saad ko. Napangiwi naman silang dalawa at napabuntong-hininga ako. "We'll conduct a short-range battle with them." Sabi ko.

Hindi pwedeng maalarma ang nasa loob ng control room. Lindsay told us there are three inside. Bago pa makalapit ang dalawa ay tuluyan na kaming nagpakita. Azure makes an uppercut with his foe and Cody makes a high kick. I know they can handle the two big guys on their own so as for me, dumiretso na ako sa loob. Three ladies.

Napalingon sila sa pagpasok ko at agad na dumampot ng sari-sarili nilang baril. The girl with blonde hair spoke saying 'Katana Roswell found us'. I supposed that was for their comrades. Halos sabay sabay silang nagpaputok ng kani-kanilang baril. I feel sorry for them. They're facing Katana Roswell. I perfectly made a swift to avoid the bullets and makes a high kick that resulted to a bloody mouth of the blonde girl. The second lady in red suddenly tried to punch me but my reflexes made me lower my head and give her an uppercut in return.

"Bitch!" Papasugod ang isa pang babae pero umikot ako at pinatama sa mukha nya ang malakas na sipa. Kaso biglang may humila sa buhok ko. Fuck, that hurts! Siniko ko ang sinumang nasa likod ko at nang makabwelo ay sinipa ito palayo.

I glared at her. "I don't do cat fights."

I gritted my teeth and took the gun which was placed on a table beside me. Itinutok ko 'yon sakanya at mabilis na nagpaputok. Saktong pagkalabit ko sa gatilyo ay may umagaw ng baril, in the end, imbes na sa forehead, sa balikat tinamaan yung babae.

Palingon palang ako sa umagaw ng baril nang may kumalmot ng mukha ko. Just hell! I said I don't do cat fights! Can't this girls throw some punches instead of hair-pulling?!

Biglang may humawak ng dalawa kong kamay sa likod habang tinutukan ako ni blonde hair ng baril. Kinasa nya ang baril and before she could even pull the trigger, tumalon na ako in a way na parang tumbling at naging mataas iyon dahil sa lamesang tinalunan ko. In the end, yung may hawak sa akin ang nabaril ni blonde girl.

I smirked and pushed the dead girl towards the blonde girl. Sabay silang bumagsak out of impact. Kinuha ko ang isa pang baril na nakuha ko at pinaputukan muna ang kanina kong kaharap bago ang bumagsak. Poof!

"Phew." I blew my bangs. Hinawakan ko ang earpiece. "Control Room, cleared." Sabi ko at kasabay no'n ang pagpasok ni Cody at Azure.

Ngumiti sila sa akin at sabay na nagthumbs up.

"Wengya! Ang galing talaga ng Katanababes ko."

"Anak ng. Anong 'ko', Lerwick? Gusto mong maupakan?"

Tss. Tinalikuran ko sila at tumingin sa mga CCTV. Shit. Napahawak ako sa earpiece ko. "[A bomb in north entrance would explode in seconds.]" Bigla ay sabay kaming sabi ni Duchess.

[Shit! Malapit kami dito!] I heard Raven.

[Grayson and Kayden, defuse the bomb at the room next to yours. Located at the back of the door] Boses ni Lindsay.

[Areglado] Twas Grayson

[Masabugan ka sana] And we all heard Amber's whisper.

Bigla namang nagkaroon ng sandaling pagyanig dahil sa biglang pagsabog ng bombang sinasabi namin ni Duchess seconds ago. Fuck. Nando'n nga pala yung vault sa sinabugan ng bomba.

[Is everyone alright?] Kuya Trigger

[Yes] We answered in unison

[Katana?] Twas Lindsay.

"Yeah?" I answered.

[Stay at control room. Take over. Two jerks and a bitch on their way here] At narinig ko ang pagkasa ni Lindsay ng baril.

Napaangat ang isang sulok ng labi ko. I never thought I would have the most boring task in this hunt. But I knew I had no choice. Naupo na ako sa swivel chair at pinaikot para harapin sina Azure at Cody--who were busy checking out the fallen Charlie's Angels with malice.

"You heard that? Tayo ang papalit sa boring na gawain ng tatlong yan." Itinuro ko ang tatlong patay na babae saka muling ibinalik paikot ang swivel chair at nagpalumbaba.

I thought this would be interesting. Turns out, I just wanna go home. Being the iris of the group is the most boring task ever.
