PESMENOS

carrying his sword, he once stood tall.
remained strong against any wall,
through the abyss, through the blades,
haunted by enemies, haunted by Hades.

the leader was held high by the pack,
for he had the strongest attack.
survived in the hands of the mad,
lived in the battlefield of blood.

winning hundreds of war,
comes with victory from far.
known as invincible on fights he had.
rise at top, thy humble stalwart lad.

for thy glory he has received,
by his own army, he was deceived.
an inevitable atrocious plan arose,
led by uncontrollable envy of those.

trust bestowed upon his troop,
promised not let each other die.
yet only he had the sincere swoop.
though everyone was heard in battlecry.

emotions were his only enervation -
trusted every eye in his whole legion,
but with an army deaf of his helpless call,
drowning was he in that red mess as he fall.

as he swing his sword,
he was left by his men.
forgotten the promised word,
thy stalwart soldier has fallen.
